Acupuncture shouldn't feel painful as the needles used are so fine people don't feel these being inserted. I use the finest quality single use, disposable needles. It is normal to feel a tingle or dull ache during treatment, this is not considered uncomfortable. Acupuncture can be very relaxing during treatment.

It is important to rest following treatment and hydrate yourself regularly. If needles are a worry for you please feel free to talk this through with me.
