Your Questions Answered
Does it hurt?
This is the number one question! Unlike the needles used for blood tests, acupuncture needles are incredibly fine—about the thickness of a human hair. Most clients don’t feel them go in at all. You might feel a tiny tingle or a dull ache once they are in place, which is actually a great sign that your body’s energy is "waking up."
How many sessions will I need?
Every body is different. For a recent injury, 2 or 3 sessions might do the trick. For something you’ve been struggling with for some time we might plan a short course of 6 sessions to really get to the root of the problem. We’ll chat about a plan that feels right for you during your first visit.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. I use sterile, single-use needles that are disposed of immediately after your treatment. Acupuncture is a regulated, professional therapy used by millions of people worldwide alongside modern medicine.
Can I have Acupuncture and Spinal Touch in the same session?
Yes! In fact, many clients find this is the "magic formula." We can use Spinal Touch to get your posture and muscles relaxed first, which often makes the Acupuncture even more effective.
